The Board welcomes input from victims. Victims are entitled to notification of hearings on request and are entitled to an opportunity to be heard. Victims may attend and address the Board at a live hearing, participate in a live hearing by telephone and/or submit a written statement to the Board. Victims may contact the Board to obtain a victim notification request form. Victims attending board hearings have a separate waiting area at the Board's offices. Victim's should advise Board staff members of their status when they arrive for a hearing so they can be shown to the proper waiting area. Victims of criminal offenses are encouraged to keep their contact information updated with the Board so proper notifications can be made without unnecessary delay. For further information on victim's rights you may contact your local prosecutorial agency or review your rights at www.azleg.gov/arizonarevisedstatutes.asp?title=13. Chapter 40. The Board genuinely recognizes the difficult situation you have been placed in as a victim of a crime. Your input, either written or verbal, is extremely important to this Board. If you have further questions or if we may be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact this office or the Office of Victim Services.
