Note regarding commutation applications:  Due to a large volume of commutation applications received, Phase I commutation hearings are being set approximately 6 months or longer after the Board receives the application.  Please note, applications must first be submitted to the AZ Department of Corrections for processing and certification.  Do not submit commutation applications directly to the Board, doing so will delay the hearing further.

Effective September 1, 2023 virtual or telephonic appearance will be limited to parties and those with a constitutional right to speak. All members of the public wishing to address the Board may appear in person or submit written comments to the Board one week prior to the hearing.
